Had a nice surprise when i got in from work tonight, my shiny new '07 PK ripper. This thing is AWESOME. Can't wait to get it built up, just not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet...

whats the geometry like compared to the early 80,s ripper?have you any pics of one of these already built up,would love to see them

It's a lot longer than my old '83 model that's for sure. These things are so new i haven't even seen one built yet!

I'd go new school all the way! Maybe one of the Pro Neck clamp on stems....Paul brakes.....it deserves the best of stuff IMO.......

Totally agree. Would have preferred a U brake setup on these but seems like SE have been doing it the V brake way for years. A real shame. But hey, i still love it and can't wait to get it together. Hopefully we'll have a late summer!

Lloyd, I think you should go new school all the way but with retro colours, a mix of mid and old school colours that is as more and more new school stuff is available in retro colours :daumenhoch:

certainly are marty, brake and lever run at about £100 + though

Those Paul brakes are superb, but I don't know if I can justify a ton on brakes! Was thinking Shimano for the brakes, just from having a quick look around...

I'd take a look at the Proper rims/hubs, Trev would be your man to get some sorted out. They're great rims and come in some cool colours too :daumenhoch:
