My first try with Interparcel, booked a pick up from the chromers in Manchester for last Monday to be with me Tuesday, no pick up, I chase and the agent TNT collect on the Weds, so not unreasonably I expect delivery to me for the end of last week!
It is now Monday and not parcel, not attempted delivery note, I put the tracking number in the website and it shows collection, but also No Status for present location!!
I call up and am told that TNT have lost the package, but the interparcel fella on the line is quite calm about this whilst I am fuming!! At the moment I am on tenterhooks waiting for a call saying the package (which is in a Haro bike box - so not small) has been found!
1 x f+f
1 X frame
2 x bars
2 x crank arms

fingers crossed it turns up dude. I hate it when that happens, it's not the money, it's the fact that some lovely stuff has been lost. twats.
-
what's really annoying is that I upped the insurance thinking it would encouage them to deliver, but maybe had the opposite effect and encouraged them to nick the stuff, but either way the £750 is not enough to replace the parts without the cost of the chroming too!!!

harsh mate :daumenhoch:
i was in my local post depot last week raging at the manager >:D
our new postie has decided its a good idea to put stuff in the blue fooking wheelie bin!!
he hasnt even been carding the house to let us know something has arrived!
so far i've lost
36 titanium spokes
2 standard bykes race plate
a set of standard stickers
6 dvds, 1 irreplaceable
i only found out as my mate works in the same depot as him
i went thriugh the complaints procedure and complained to the depot manager,
the next day as soon as the letters dropped throught he door i opened the door and "asked" him about it,this is what i said to him,
"if i catch you or find out you've been putting any of my letters or parcels in that bin, i'll take this bat to your fooking head ok?"

it was the waste that got to me,
the spokes were hand cut, threaded and finished then driven to a post office, then driven to an airport, then flown over here, then driven to a sorting office then driven and carried all the way to my front door for that fooktard to put them in the bin!
my neighbour puts my bins out religiously so......
the worst thing was the standard bykes race plate, that thing took me three years of searching to find, i'd based a whole bike around it!
we have a new postman now, he gave a healthy knock on the door this morning and i signed for my parcels.
no fuss :daumenhoch:

-
trouble is this aint the po it is interparcel who contracted out to TNT.
-
putting parcels in wheelie bins must be all the rage with the posties, ours put some books from amazon in the paper/cardboard bin, no note saying he's done it,i put the bins out and for some reason i thought i'd check in the bin to see if he's put owt in{he's done it before} and there it was a brown cardboard box in a bin full of empty brown cardboard boxes, leave it by the back step or behind the flower pots but not in a bin full of cardboard.d*ckhead!
i've got some mtb bars and a props dvd from pijin missing, god knows where he's put them :uglystupid2:

I'd be going down the council office to find where the rubbish goes and see if I could have a search for them, needle & haystack but fook it sounds like some of the stuff is worth getting dirty for :LolLolLolLol:

Our couriers like to throw things over the side gate as I'm end of terrace, Had more than one parcel in the kids paddling pool, think the fcuk wits aims at it.
Get the the little card saying parcel over side gate, nothing about the splash they heard. :2gunsfiring_v1: :2gunsfiring_v1: :angrysoapbox:

Putting things in the wheelie bin? That is utterly pathetic. Don't they think what might happen to them. arseholes.
I would prefer they didn't bother delivering at all, and just to pick the stuff up at the office.
I can't believe how useless this country is sometimes. I read today about all the carry on at T in the park, with traffic jams caused by the rain and none of the parking officials having any clue that all the carparks were closed- resulting in people waiting in jams for hours pointlessly. Did it not cross their minds that Scotland was partial to the odd damp spell?

Good news for me though, got home tonight and TNT had left the box with next door, it wouldn't have fitted in the bin ;D
Bit odd that this morning it was lost then it was delivered this pm though ???
-
