anyone know much about these?
i seem to remember them from years ago but am not sure....?
missed out on a stem not long ago, and recently took a punt on one from germany..
its cool as fook to look at and looks trick with a mirror finish and the carbon effect shaft ( might even be carbon, i dont know)
what you reckon?

Strongs isn't that Craig Strong the Wheelie King. Got a picture of him wheeling his custom PK Ripper with a Chopper Seat attatched to it and no front wheel (bizzarre)

the logo on the stem looks familiar

the sticker on it says strong in capitals and then japan underneath it...
its very well made and as i said earlier has a carbon shaft...
keep the idea's coming boys...need to suss this out cos if its shite or not 'era correct', it aint going on my next 'secret' project...

I think these are from 83/84, will have a look through some scans to see if I can find an advert. I am also sure this subject has been discussed before on Rad :-\.

They are definately old I remember them aswell like Marty C says 83-84 sounds about right.

cool..problem with searching is when i whack it in google under strong bmx products and variances of that theme, i get fooking all sorts come up....

it was his brother who owned the shop,they did make a few things like flex fighters and they did a protoype frame and fork set called a stronglite ,as far as i can remember they never went in to production,heres a crap pic(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/y77/sawzall717/samrobinhood029.jpg)
