I have just got a tane 125 lp for my pk ripper loop tail and it does not fit  is this right ??? what can i do apart from scream :uglystupid2:

Just had the same problem, Feeze the cups then put the frame headstock in boiling water , then use plenty of wood and hammers.

take it to any tin pot engineering company ( there everywhere) bung em a drink, n get one of the lads to press them in on their fly press, itl take bout 3 mins  , and wont damage anythin :daumenhoch:

bit of wd and use a drift, no direct hammering on cups.

Or just do what i do and take it into a bike shop (not Halfwits) and get it done properly  ;)

some person(i forget who) made their own press out of drilled wood, threaded bar, washers and nuts, tighten with spanner and hey presto.

i know how you feel, i've just had to fit these headsets to two of my bikes and only managed to finish the job on one of them. You need a headset press.

you could get away with 2 blocks of wood, some allthread (sell it at b and q) and big washers though?
