elbows! lets just say i wouldn't have been impressed if i had gone over the side and not made it into my new job today. And dont try and justify it with the kiddies either coz thay haven't got to get up for work.
-
;D ;D I hope you're not just trying to make Zippy jealous with all this about starting a new job :LolLolLolLol:
It's almost impossible to pass in that turn without some sort of physical contact. I'm thinking of taking up croquet instead so no-one can bitch about me all the time!!!!!

It's almost impossible to pass in that turn without some sort of physical contact.
That may be the case but there is rubbin elbows etc and then there is trying to send someone over the edge. I wont comment further until i have seen the footage.
I think you can probably ascertain that we have never had to contend with this kind of racing before at Hersden as its a fun series wich already has its elements of risk wich has already been proved by Zippy and his hospital visits.
Simon has been very successful in this year's series and this has been done with good clean racing.
I dont care how thay did it BITD i never raced BITD as did a few other members of Hersden but as i already said there is already an element of risk involved.

did any one get any photos or vids at all ?
i know phil had his camera there, but don't know what he took though

Girls 13 years and under points standings......
1. Cheyenne Chapman..............111
2. Natalie Edwards....................94
3. Katy Horley............................81
4. Altai Colville...........................70
5. Mia Vickers.............................35
6. Katie Misson...........................32
7. Chloe Oaten...........................31
8. Maisy Williamson....................27
9. Isla Banks..............................21
10. Chloe Muggleton..................19
Cheyenne now looking long odds on to claim the series, but the battle is on for second with Natalie on holiday for 12th August, which means that 2nd 3rd and 4th have all missed one round, which leaves a good three way battle between Natalie, Katy and Altai for the other two podium places

There you go , all listed. Next meeting is SUNDAY 12TH AUGUST, and dont forget the massive meeting we have planned on SUNDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER, our last meeting of the season including end of season presentation, end of season awards, end of season raffle and most important to all RAD members the very first OLD SKOOL SHOOTOUT.
All riders can pre register for the event from Monday August 13th. We will be looking for Hersdens biggest turnout ever, we had 33 riders in April, 28 in June, no number too great (now I know I can handle it).
Don't be shy to bring your Cruisers as well, plenty of space for them too.

Is elbows a member on here?
Yes mate, goes by the name of 'Extemepervert'.
-
Elbows is a newly aquired nickname for him, although nobody can think why ;D

Not often I stick up for Dave but I saw the move from thetart hill and it all looked good to me. :10_2_12:
Video footage will tell tho - come on Wolfy !
Chris
-
I think it was a fair move, purposefull but fair.
Have to say though that was the race of the day for me. It was worth going on Sunday just to see that race. I think Muttley had an air of determination about him didn't he. :LolLolLolLol:
-
Was a good race though didn't see it all as was concentrating on getting my worst start of the day :LolLolLolLol:
-
Well thankfully your worst start was still better than my best one of the day.
I was putting a brave face on it but I was still suffering on Sunday. Still championships aren't won led in bed are they. :LolLolLolLol:
-
As i say i will reserve judgement until i see the footage. Perhaps i need to change my way of thinking about racing then and the ways its done, i'm open minded and i will be honest and say that it did give me a lot of confidence and try and have a go back 8)
-
:idiot2: " Fight fire with fire, don't take a step backwards " That's the spirit Muttley, you know it makes sense :2funny:
-
i told dave i would be watching him as he got on the gate.although he was forcefull in his move on muttley i must admit i never thought he would take you out.you stayed on your bike, you didnt go over the berm,to me it was fair.firm but fair.seen plenty worse.it was nice to see muttley up front fighting for a win and the fact that you came so close is too your credit.you have to expect the odd bit of argy bargy on a tight track like that.your only doing about 8 mile and hour so theres usually no harm done even if you do spill.toughen up,the closer you are to the front the more of that you can expect.i'd say next time hang back and do it to dave.he'll get his,he's a marked man as far as the osss07 lads are concerned.
-
Yep, 100% agree with jazzy. Dave didnt do anything worse than any move I've seen Justin do on that second berm when he raced at Hersden ;D ;D
