Help please, Just gont to put some wheel nuts on my most excellent wheels (ta bruvver ;) ) and the ones I have dont fit, neither do any others on all four ends. Am I missing somethin ???
Here is a pic of said axle (both are the same), its a suntour sealed wrapped in araya :daumenhoch: thay look like skyway axles to me, but I know fook all :LolLolLolLol:

some old school axles are smaller than 10mm
well, the fronts were!
you need the nuts that come with it!

some axles have different size threads, ie Skyway were different to Profile ect
some are 24 tpi (thread per inch) and others are 26TPI they can also be different diameters 3/8" or 10mm typically, you need to take your wheels to a bike shop and try a few different ones :daumenhoch:

or take it to bbn fasteners, who have every nut and bolt in the world, in stainless, standard, dome, and nyloc.

That might be true in the industrial world, but bicycle threads are a complete different kettle of fish, I doubt they would be able to help, Try a bike shop I hear Fox cycles in colne are pretty good.
