Dont think it'd move very well without the wheels :P

I know it would need spokes to be competative Tony, but it
still hauls pretty fast with the plastic on.

He put it on talk for £500 but had no takers, sounds like it
will be a bidding war going on wish i was going. A guy
from Hastings sent me that piccy Tony goes under the
name of Biglav its Pete Lavenders Dad.
-
I did send darren A pm, but no reply as yet :'(
If i get it I will be racing 2 classes next summer :daumenhoch:
-
That photo was taken at daggers. U can see me being left in the back ground with my skid lid on. What was I thinking wearing that thing, I look like a right plum
-
Its more fun on a 20 inch than on the ole cruisers. With all us older riders riding 20" new skool perhaps there should be a 40+ 20" class ;)
-
sounds good darren 40+ masters :LolLolLolLol:
-
I agree, BCF should sanction two new classes next year, 20" old school and 20" 40+ :daumenhoch:
-
20" 40+ would be a good idea. Not sure I would race it cos I still do quite a lot of mountain biking (off to the Alps next week for a week of riding) and I find it easier to switch between Cruiser and MTB. But for sure, a 20" 40+ class should be there for those guys who want to race it.
By the way Ratty, the Ti frame that Darren Flint is selling is a prototype of which there are only 2 (Jason Kenning has the other). You can tell the difference between the protos and the production frames as the protos have the old school style plate gussets at the head tube. It was ridden for a season by ex British Champ Scott Waterhouse when I was first developing the frame (Jason's frame is Ex Euro No.1 and current W2 Ben Forwood's old frame). The only difference between the proto and a production frame are the gussets, and I think I might have moved the brake mounts up a couple of mm too :daumenhoch:
Wish I was going to MK this weekend to see those lovely OS bikes and do a bit of racing, but EuroDisney beckons :uglystupid2:
-
Kev get those mags off of it, its the best frame ever built how on earth are you going to appreciate how it rides with jelly for wheels.
I've got BFR's on mine, it scares the crap out of me every time I ride it....thats why I love it.
