Title: Cheapest for Streetbeat F&F and parts?
Post by: Stella Dave on July 31, 2007, 02:42 PM
Can you help me out guys??
Lookin to build a custom streetbeat as cheap as possible! Ginnys does a raw F&F for $50, does anyone know anywhere over here?
Any help with where to source cheapish parts would be great help also.

Am I gonna run into any parts that just don't come cheap??

Not sure on colours as yet but always fancied an Orange Neil Ruffell a-like or yellow. So poss Orange or Black tuffs.

a Ruffell replica is gonna set you back some....

i believe it was dordy who built it up.

mmm, thought it may do. My custom Super Tuff cost me over £400 in the end.
May have to sell it to finance this!

Was dordy's a replica or did he build the original?!?

no the styler was a later model and lower spec.......it has a flat plate around the seat post tube instead of the tubes on the beat

it was the street scene that has the flat plate.  the street styler was the in between model.

You could build a streetbeat on a budget quite easily, my original plan for MK this year was to build one for £100 all in.

that would be quite a challenge...  unless you were donated a lot of parts.

I am after getting a streetbeat frame too. Any condition.

Maybe a group purchase could be organised to reduce costs?
Few of us get together?
