wet n dry... use coarse grade for starters to get all the marks out and then a couple of finer grades to finish smooth  :daumenhoch:

easy way is to bolt axle in a vice so ya can spin the wheel
and then ya get a even finish then

I found mde grit wet and dry worked well, but left them dull...a  little car wax that is slightly abrasive bought them back to the correct shine though

apparently if you put them in the freezer, it will straighten them, clean off the brake rub marks, regrease the hubs, find your car keys, walk the dog, and put the "ram" in the rammer dammer ding dong

Not to be confused with the bop-she-wop-she-wop.................. they are only wheels after all.

iv got the same problem on my light blue skyways on my quadanngle , all i did was fly round the block and keep breaking so that it gets an even black mark all the way rouns so it looks like its meant to be there ( no seriously i did) job done  :daumenhoch:
