Title: skyways on new school bmx's
Post by: thebigdog on August 13, 2007, 09:10 PM

ok my mate has a newer BMX with the bigger size drop outs 14mm isnt it?,he wants to fit a set of skyways to it but they abviously come in 10mm,i know you can fit skyways to new school bikes, ive seen it done before, but im not sure how its done because ive never really bothered to look.

so do you fit new axles to the skyways? or use some kind of washers so they fit in the frame and forks?

any help would be great thanks  :daumenhoch:

Either go this route ( read the text-convertible axles  ) or get some axle convertors

Either way will do  :daumenhoch:

If you buy a new set of Skyways with the sealed bearings then the axle converters come with them  :daumenhoch:
