Title: axle thread sizes

Is a standard 3/8ths axle 26tpi ?

Are Skyway Axles 24tpi ?

i think that the rear axle on tuff 2s were 24 tpi and the fronts were 26tpi, but i bought a set of 24" skyways and they both were 26tpi :idiot2: :uglystupid2:
but most axles are 26tpi
no doubt il be corrected if im wrong :LolLolLolLol:

Freewheel and coaster axles had different threads.  For the life of me though, I can't remember which was which.......   :-[

Counting down to knee sugery now, I see the surgeon on the 21st and it should all happen pretty quickly after that.  Then 6-9 months rehab........  :(


Now I think of it, coaster axles were 24tpi.   I think......
