thats my old 87 mini goose
-i had an 88 pro sized one fro 88 too, but chrome
-I think in 87/88, they were just called 'M1's'
-your fork decals are the same
-note , you'd assuem the headtube badge would suggest it was earlier -not the case
they were made in taiwan
-i reckon when you get it, the date will be on the seat tube sticker -1987
-in 1988, they went back to a head tube stricker, not a badge -with a little made in taiwan sticker under it
-much like other manufacturers, idf the welding wasn't too clever, they powder coated them to hide it
;maybe'
cos 'maybe' they were infact made in 84/5 in the b'boom' - unfinished, sold a few years later?
-anyway its not a mini - but it has got 'skinnies' on it, albeit 20 by 1.3/8 arayas
top tube on the mini is 17.5 -us bb
top tube on the pro is 19.5
:LolLolLolLol:
-
