Title: ACS Z-mags
Post by: gmac on November 14, 2005, 10:41 PM
Any good compared to Tuffs, cos they look sexy ?  I'm thinking about using them on my Ripper.

they are a quality mag, one of the best ever made, super strong & rigid, thats a bargain price as they are normally about £80-£120 a pair. worth getting if your after riding the bike & not storing it. recommended ;D

Just another tip though....like there Z rims, the white lettering rubs off the minute a brake block looks at them.

Cool mags though  :)

Well, I think they look well cool, but the problem is, they are NOT as rigid as tuffs or Zytecs, they are a softer composite and therefore a bit more flexy.

If its a PK Ripper, gotta be tuffage.

Thats the rules.

alloy hubbed Tuffs too, maybe even gold hubbed graffs if you can find some!

rules are rules ;)

I have a pair of Z mags on my white streetbeat and they look the nuts and are a sweet ride, shame the white lettering comes off with brake wear

the old versions are cheaper than the new ones, the new ones are alot stronger and are very rigid, if you look at my old for sale posts i had 3 pairs of new ones for sale at £75 inc p&p but the have all gone, also the new ones all have 14mm axle conversion kits & they only come in black.
