Title: headset tube flared...what should i do?
Post by: Jt on August 22, 2007, 08:30 PM
basically have just bought a JMC shadow..its in need of a resto, which is cool but the headset tube is flared quite badly top and bottom..

compared it to my DY and my standard short and there is no flare at all.

is it poss to have a new tube put in, is it worth it, can anyone do it to the required standard, or do i leave it and try and work with it as is?

its currently chrome but thats knacked so i'm gonna get it powdered black which may make it not as noticable?

thoughts please!

Dont worry, Flares never go away for long. They have been in and out many times since I was a small child.

Hope this helps  :daumenhoch:
