post your thoughts here.
with all the new Araya hoop sets going at 2-300 these Sumos are lookin good. tell me what you think about them. I have a used set of silver ones. seem to be of similar quality. thoughts?

they do hold up well and are a good alternative in this ever growing hobby /passion
in the next few years i think parts that have been upto now classed as second best
will get there day in the spot light as at least you can ride them without the worry of busting
big bucks by damaging them.

i used a set on my beat to ride with....they were great! if i could get another set i would as i sold mine with another bike :(
-
nice wheels
i have got loads of them
used to ride them bitd too.

Sumo rims are great.....They were original eqipment on the Diamond Back Reactors in the 90's. I have had lots of Sumo rims in the past, I even had a NOS black set that I got chromed then laced them up to GT Superlace sealed hubs.
For me the top 3 brands of 7X rims would be Araya, Ukai and Sumo's.
