They are cool. There was all kinds of nice stuff like that when A-head first came out. 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 conversions and quilled shafts for both sizes too. It was more for road and MTB bikes. Maybe when someone needs a new stem and cant get a shafted one in the style they want.

Its a shame that threaded forks tend to be harder to find than shafted stems!

They are very popular on road and mtb bikes, sorry I shouldn't know that  :-[  :LolLolLolLol:

Thats the Road bike "Profile" compamy not the BMX one, I wouldnt trust a gizmo like that on a BMX :idiot2:

I'm getting old philpot! Then again i know absolutely nothing about any other types of bikes!
