First up....
Dunno if anyone knows them but Sprocket Cycles- in Alison St, Digbeth. The guy in there was really helpfull and quite knowledgable of old skool stuff.. recounting stories of people who used to ride TRM's back in the day.
Good service and good prices!

Yeah, the guy at sprocket is alright, used to race he did.
Hes a bit funny with "mates rates" though, they aint none! -lol.
Its a good little place though next to a organic cafe,
He sells a few cool bits too like COLOURED bmx chains.
Its also a good place to pick up a retro shopper/commuter as he sells cool secondhand bikes on behalf of a charity which provides cycle mechanic training for people with difficulties.
- he doesnt get anything for doing that, so he must be a good egg.

Just seen your reply..
The guy at sprocket has tange head locks coming out of his ears.. there were a few bits that looked good- as for JH but neither shops are really the sort of rumage around type shops.
The guy at JH kept kicking himself everytime I mentioned how much stuff was worth- he'd thrown shit loads out recently.
