Title: is there any good parks 30 minutes from......

Hatfield Herts?  i know there is Rom and Charlton but driving from Hatfield midweek would be a complete nightmare! 

I would love to try and ride at least once a week.....but unless it's about 30 minutes away then i aint going to do it  :-\

anyone know?

Cheers Dan.......i will look at Safron walden or Bar Hill.....but when was Corby or Bury St Edmands 30 minutes from Hafield?  unless i use a Microlight??   :LolLolLolLol:

Safron Walden is the nearest.....but would still be an hours drive me thinks  :-\

 :LolLolLolLol:  the problem i have, is the Mrs and i only have one car now.....and we don't get home from work of an evening till about 6pm??  so would really need somewhere pretty close.  i just wondered if anyone knew of any?

google maps claims you could do hatfield to charlton in under an hour. you can normally shave off 15% of that time too. you could leave a 7 and easily get there for 8 when most of us get there.

Yeah i used to ride that as a kid..........it looked well scary back then but took a gander at it the other week and it's pants now!  :LolLolLolLol:   not bad for a rollaround though  :daumenhoch:

Mate......with the best will in the world.....i could never do Hatfield to Charlton in midweek traffic in under an hour!

worth trying it once just to see what the journey would actually be like.... you might surprise yourself.

Get home, eat, set off for Charlton at about 7 or 7.30pm.  You'll be Londonbound, so against most of the traffic.  Arrive 8.30-9.00ish, ride till midnight like the rest of us.

Stagger back to your car, drive home on autopilot half asleep, get home for 1.30am.  Shower and fall into bed and wake up late for work the following day, sore as fook.  Wait 7 days and repeat   ;)

Just like the rest of us......  ;) ;D ;D ;D
