Title: evil looking condor (lots of pics)
Post by: spesh on September 02, 2007, 08:04 PM: i built this as a bit of fun but also to use as a rider
im a big fan of evel knievel and mat hoffman and loved the original signature bikes but being a poor family man
i could never afford to buy one of those,so this is as close as i can get and im not to bothered if i scratch it as the decal kits are plentiful and the rattle can paint job only cost me £30 all in
hope you like it
the frame is a 1/18 th condor (not sure of year)with hoffman 1/18th 14mm superforks

and then i bought it as a bare metal frame and the forks and original ek seat i got off ebay

and then i painted it in ford olympic blue(the closest colour i could find)

the paint came out superb lots of 1200grit (no orange-peel for me!) between coats it just needs to harden a bit and then il get the rubbing compound out and it will really shine :daumenhoch:

It is a 98 Condor Bri - but the Wembley was a 2001, so it'll be confussing which parts to select to make it look right.
