Title: Historical Artifact: Rick's Bike Shop Special
Post by: reilley1 on September 05, 2007, 03:06 AM
72 or early 73 While all the early dinosaurs were riding modified Stingrays, Rick Twomey came out with a radical new design which changed BMX.  A design that is still with us this day.  The bike was raced by many  of the icons of the sports such as Dave Clinton, John Palfreyman, Thom Lund and Doug Takahashi

The frame was lying around Rick Twomey's house and he gave me the honor of restoring it to it's old glory
