GETIN THERE!!!!
So glad that bike is built! Even better that its going straight to the trails! What better place for it, even if it was as good as NOS a few hours ago!
Better put a towel over that seat before you ride it. Be a shame to come off and rip it! ha ha.
Nice one Joe, great build :4_17_5:
-
Very nice! I love the third pic. :daumenhoch:
What size is the Imperial? It looks huge!
-
Hey, I just thought. That silver shafted redneck came from street mafia. I bought a whole bike off them about a year ago just for the frame, bars and stem. Christian was a top man, really helpfull. Funny that ay?
Here is the bike as it was on Ebay. All Ive got left now is the frame, bars and the frame pad (and the stem is in a good place now)

Laz, you sound like the NS kids when I went to the skatepark with Crowman! One of them asked the same question and we told him that Crowman had a 62t chainring ... and I think he believed it! :2funny:
-
:LolLolLolLol: I'm 44/16 to the bone!! It just looked a bit bigger than usual is all! :)
-

-
So nice.... :daumenhoch:
-
I might have a chainring that looks smaller, and is maybe more fitting with the time. I think I have got a flight ring or an older rip saw profile ring, or maybe even a few early 90s odyssey ones. Let me know if you want me to look something out for ya.
-
cheers dude thats a kind offer :daumenhoch:
i tried the 43t fusion nuke ring on it but it looked even more modern :LolLolLolLol:
i've just emailed a chap in the usa about a 44t ripsaw or 43t hurricane so i'll let you know asap,
any ideas on what seat clamp to go for chaps? the primo one looks a bit too chunky for my eye! would a tnt work?
i cant find an os 22mm profile clamp for trying, i remember seeing loads not so long back,
a chrome 22mm primo rod post would be sweet too if anyone knows where there's one lurking?!!
-
a few folk mentioned the imperial chainwheel being too new so after trying to find one for a fortnight or so i suddenly realised this one was on the later challenger! :LolLolLolLol:
just swapped them over!
more suitable?
massive thanks to ygt for sorting the stem and pedals :daumenhoch:
and to alex for the silver redneck loan :daumenhoch:
