No they are not S&M cranks.

I was going to keep quiet and bid on those myself, but I dont really want to buy new stuff at the moment as I am trying to focus on the stuff that I have that needs restro first.

These are midschool chad harrington "crusader" cranks which are Uber rare and very midschool
Chad was selling a few sets of these during the worlds in 1997 and I never really any more sets after that.

The arms are massive and originally they had an alloy spindle with NO bearings, they used polyurathene? washers instead to help allow the cranks to rotate.
They also used a special shaped sprocket that slid directly onto the axle.

Out of all honesty these cranks never really worked due to the no bearing design, you couldnt crank round corners LOL.
But at the same time these are a truely rare piece of midschool from a rider who did leave a great impression on the bmx world during this time.

definatly a good buy, but you may want to pester the seller to see if he can find the other bits like sprocket / bb / axle etc .........

I know I am gonna kick myself for not bidding on these.

I remember checking them out on Chad's bike at Backyard.

Like Mark said, not really practical but SUPER RARE!!

Remember his wacky bikes with the crazy gearing?
