Title: i had a moment of insanity
Post by: gt0733 on September 17, 2007, 04:58 AM: yep it happened. i built a bike that isn't a redline ;D
this here is a 1978 team mongoose that i've customised with blue accents. i think it's nice at the moment but may well put the dura ace cranks, ss clamp, weinmann rims and chen shin nobbies on later to get it closer to original. toughest item will be the kashi suede seat :shocked:

i've got all except the suede seat, but i won't hold my breath waiting to find that one :P

i got lucky, i guess. the first set came with the F/F. another set i found on ebay for about 70 bucks aus inc postage. i'd suggest trying worldwide ebay with a search on shimano or dura ace. they come up eventually :daumenhoch:
