I would check the weight Si, those seat guts scream cheap and heavy,
would you be better off with a more race bread bike?
:) DINGO :)

Burn It!
-
What's wrong with the SE/Floval you bought at Hersden, Zippy?
-
Nothing at all, I love it to bit's. In fact i went for a ride with my daughter today on here tag along bike and it was a good little ride.
The thing is I was thinking of getting one of these and painting it in Team colours for the wife. They'd only cost me 100 pounds with my staff discount. :LolLolLolLol:
-
I see. Keeping the proper bike for yourself ;)
I like the invisible forks and bars on the bike above.

ZIPPY I KNOW YOUR WORKING FOR RALEIGH NOW BUT COME ON MATE EXPAND YOUR MIND................................. :idiot2:
-
Frame is actually quite nice but the components are spec'd down to a low price point unfortunately. It'll be fine for the wife to ride down the seafont on though. Especially at the price I get them for. :LolLolLolLol:
-
good on raleigh :daumenhoch:
good enough starter bike that,
glad to see they havent put any "kooky" shite on it!
geometry looks ok, a-headset, bars look sweepy but they'd be ok for a while,
the front v-brake might seem odd but its actually a better idea if the rider wants to keep the brake on, it'll work better than a cheapo caliper anyday!
the parts are specced to a price like you say but it looks to be a good cheap price so f-it!
gets riders started so it's all good out of the box,
cant really see the overall finish quality but again at the price you wont be getting s&m/standard from anyone else anyway,
good for raleigh,
well done to them like :daumenhoch:

Burn It!
OH YES
-
Burnerworld have actually all chipped in and bought a quadangle frame and forks and at the next bash we're going to burn that to the ground. :LolLolLolLol:
-
Actually had this delivered to the shop and we built it up this morning. It sold within 10 minutes.
They're actually very good bikes and if you want a cheap cruiser to start racing on that you can upgrade later this is a great start.
It works out that I can sell them to you guy's for £145. I think that's a pretty good deal. :daumenhoch:
-
thats only 1 to my 12 haro's sold then :2funny:
-
Didn't realise this was a territorial pissing competiton. But 12 cruisers sold in the 4 years you've been open is rightly something to be very proud off. ;)
However if you want a 'cheap' entry level cruiser before splashing out big bucks on a really good cruiser then this would be a good choice.

Fight, fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight,fight. :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2:

hey zippster
have ya got full spec on this ere raleigh cruiser

russ

These are the only specs that they provide for the bike. Like I've said this is really a good beginers bike. It's great for cruising the streets and as a beginers race bike if you don't want to splash out £250+ on a decent beginers race bike.
Green/White
11" Cruiser BMX style
Single speed
BMX stem and handlebars
Max graffiti saddle
Alloy double wall rims with street BMX tyres
Alloy V brakes
Steel
N/A
-
if you can sell them for £145 then that looks a bargain for a starter cruiser
-
MADD I KNOW BUT I LOVE THE COLOUR

We both manage bike shops in Canterbury and as such are both selling bikes so in essence are in competition with each other. However my shop is a Raleigh run Cyclelife store so we can only do Raleigh, Diamond Back and Triumph bikes and certain accessories. Phil's shop is a small independant shop so he can get almost anything you like. I'd say it was fair to say that within the cycle industry in Canterbury, Tibbs is seen as a BMX specialist and we're seen as a family specialist, where as CyclesUK (The other big shop in Canterbury) is seen as the Mountain bike specialist, and Downland as the Road bike specialist. So we all have our little niches really.

That's really good then. They are an excellent bike so I can fully see why that's the case. Wish i'd never sold mine and have to say it was actually better than my current Floval Flyer. :daumenhoch:

I Like That Cruiser, Damn Raleigh Are Getting Good, The Geomotry Looks Mint And It Doesn't Look Like S**t Welds :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
