Without a serial number I'd guess at an '86 Performer

85 possibly but deffo not 4

There were some '86 Performers with the 3 holes (I think Pro Performers all had 4 in '86). Also, could be the angle of the photo, but those stays look flush to me, espescially where they join the top tube.
It could just as easily be an '85, but I was just guessing between '85 & '86 without a serial number.
Defo not an '84 and not US made, I'll also hazard a guess you'll find the serial number under the BB ;D

cool, ive mailed me bro for the frame number, hopefully get back to me later, dont know what time it is over there :P

I thought GT were making there F&F in the US right upto the late 90s ??? :-\
-
I put the ;D smiliey at the end of my post because I was thinking you should run an 'Identify This Performer' Poll - a bit like a sweep :LolLolLolLol:
-
:LolLolLolLol: just phoned me bro, its all boxed up n ready to send,, so no frame number till it lands in blighty, hopefully next weekend :P

I'll have a stab at a Japanese made 85....baseball symbol on dropout, serial on B/B starting with a G perhaps......

I'm pretty sure they had some made overseas (Japan or Tiawan), the ones with the serial numbers starting with a 'G' on the bottom bracket, but I don't really know anything much about GT past '85-'86
