why are these not selling at the mo? these are nice nice wheels, but nobody seems to be shifting any at the mo, what wheels are the new daddies for builds then? as these where fetching easy £120 not so long ago.
curious

-
Dont know what the new must have is but
UKAi's are all dried up so prices are gona go up!!
-
Put them in the attic m8 and leave them till couple of months before MK 08 and sell them when everyone
is panicing to complete the builds at double the price. LOL
could it be xmas just round the corner :-\
-
there is nowt wrong with ukais or most wheels
its just most people dont seem to have 2 brass farthings to rub together lately
thats what i think :)

sure I saw some for sale on here the other day 1.75. Just the rims....not a complete wheel...think they wanted 40 quid....looked new
-
i still cant get over mine not selling
nos plus nos sealed suzies £85 bargain :daumenhoch:
-
over supply will also affect the market at times, not in every case but some.
everytime things get found then prices take a little knock.
but new members /builders always arriving so they still get sold in they end.
-
prices have sure dropped on a lot of things lately
which i thought was good
then i see some mega money going on some stuff , so again its swings and roundabouts
ukais , wheels in general have dropped by about 30 ,40 quid a set , but chrome arayas have increased big time
so it seems that the real hard to find stuff is really going well, but the easier to find stuff is going down at the mo
it will all keep rising imho in the medium term , but maybe starting to see a level that is going to set the prices for the future , no one is willing to pay above

seasonal..summer is gone....
tis like classic cars..market softens mid autumn and goes shite through the winter...the extremes stuff stays healthy money all year round.
people only hold onto sentimental and/or extremely rare items that they deem as near on irreplacable...anything surplus gets potted..this compounds come xmas, then come spring, people buy back what they wish they never got rid off...summer lands and stuff goes potty..sun is shining, days are long, lots of time to enjoy the hobby and show it off.....
now has never been a better time to buy stuff i reckon!
-
anybody wanna buy an opel monza then? :LolLolLolLol:
-
is that the big 3 litre number from about 1980?
there fooking uber cool...blue velour seats?

jw pepper rolling around in the back....
hmmm..monza schmonza....
-
those manta a's are sweet and in an older class than my monza, the monza beats the manta's of the same year hands down, my particular monza is an all original fookin beauty!!!!! i am so so impressed with it but its gotta go due to a change in job role n just not vaiable knockin up the milage on it. but it fookin rocks big time

UKAI's are down at the moment as Rudewheels just cleared out a load at £59 a pair with lovely Suntour sealed hubs...so it takes a while for things to bounce back again.
-
And I was one of those lucky enough to snap up a set :) I was actually after a set of ProClass for my Mongoose build, but at £59 I wasn't gonna turn down such a bargain. My mate has a set of ProClass rims though, so I'm trying to convince him to do a swap ;) Oh and forget the gutsy oldschool cars, nice though they are, and get yourself a newschool rice rocket. Word of warning though, if you find yourself getting carried away buying new bits for your bike, NEVER start to mod your car! After some madness my Impreza Wagon now hits 60 in a fraction over 4secs, does the 1/4 mile in 12.6secs (an Audi RS4 will do it in 13.1) and my mates Porsche 911 Turbo can't pull away from it. Oh, and they're great fun round a track too! ;D

0-60 in just a fraction under 3 seconds and awesome in the forests!
Wait while we get our WRC Evo for next season - then we'll be cooking!

Assumption is the mother of all evil - lol!
We're not getting the Evo you think we're getting, we're getting a Hyundai Accent WRC Evo. Main reason being is that we can't afford a Mitsubishi or Subaru WRC and we've tested the Hyundai and we liked it a lot. Awesome car for the money but they're not easy to come by in RHD. When we first got the scooby it was LHD (it's actually Richard Burns's old Group N car from Prodrive) and we converted it to RHD. It wasn't too bad to do really, however, we're not sure a WRC spec car will be as easy.
It'll take us up a step albeit on a budget of £70K rather than £150K and we should still be able to compete with the big boys.
We shall see, you never know, we might re-mortgage our houses and got for an Impreza WRC yet!

pft.............5.4 litres of aussie muscle. 290kw @ the flywheel, 520nm of torque, 14sec 1/4 mile, not bad for a car that comes in at nearly 1900kg straight off the showroom floor :smitten: for about 60k aussie pesos ;)
............and the rims aren't ukais :coolsmiley:
