Post by: munners on October 04, 2007, 09:26 PM
Found out yesterday that Biaggio sold out to a US buyer! Straight from the horses mouth.

Probably well old news, but there you go.

I bet he wanted top dollar for the sell out (as usual!)

On a side note I looked at pricing up a set of the Porsche wheels that he refurbs (you may or may not know that he does that too!) Fooking hell.......hes like ten times more expensive than anyone else!

Not this again  ::)

He is cheaper than Alans on some things & his service is second to none.

Iv dealt with him many times & never had a problem, I even got some discount last time I got some decals

+ he has a great knowledge of Old Skool & has always got time to help if you need any advice.

I wanted some EZ bars Mark 1's off him. He told me that he had sold the lot as a guy from the US has just bought his stock for $40,000. He has a bit of messing about to do with some products, ie paint some bars different colours and rechrome some things but that is the score!
Honest! He will still keep some bits and bobs but the majority has gone. He is now looking to venture into property abroad he told me.

I have never met him but i have always found him helpful. He has a side to him where he thinks the World owes him a living and that he is hard done by but overall he is a good bloke!
Good luck to the fella i say.

so if biagio has sold all his stock (or the majority) for $40,000 USD ... thats about £18,000 ....... I wonder whee in the world you can start deal in property with that sort of cash?
Maybe he off to africa to start the first authentic chain of "pizza in a hut"  :LolLolLolLol:

On the flip side, could you imagine trying to ship that much old bike parts to the USA ...... i wonder how much parcel force would charge for that!

Just as good in my opinion!

And I agree with YGT that £18k isnt a lot to get yourself into the property business (even if it is abroad!)

But knowing Biaggio, hes very hard nosed so im sure hell make it in whatever field he wants to get involved in!

P.s.  I actually like him as a person too, he's alright even though he did drive a girls Porsche  :2funny:

So it sound like we are left with rudewheels or alans then or is there another?

Im sure Biagio had more than 20 complete bikes. He said he had the best Haro collection in the UK, and he had way more than just Haros. He also had a box of perfect 401 arms, a load of early profile arms, at least one set of "real" aerospeeds, a Torker made master, a NOS PK ...

You'd think you'd be talking not far of a grand of each bike ... so 18 grand total dont sound like much. Maybe he kept the "bikes" and sold the "parts"?

I expect it's been bought up by Jeff Norton?

If he just purchased Rudewheels stock for £12,000 that makes his personal stock £6000 (inc Gossa's graphites ect)

 :) DINGO :)

and my aerospeeds (that when I last saw them were MINT MINT MINT)

Agreed.   Purely from what I've heard and the prices I see, 18 large doesn't seem like anywhere near enough for the whole shebang....
