Was just looking at the GT website and this frame looks the nuts, always wanted an ULTRABOX.

i reckon we might see some of these at the olympics - looks tip top :daumenhoch:

I think the regular aluminium ultra box frames look nicer than that carbon thing.
Steel is real though ;)

i've had the same pair of carbon fibre forks on my MTB for nigh on 15 years admitedly i only use it to tow the kids about these days but it did take some stick in the early days and is still going strong.
-
I saw a set of Carbon forks snap at Bournemouth regional last year, and a couple of weeks ago a kid down at Peckham snapped his carbon bars. They both went down hard.
-
Dingo, you speak the truth :daumenhoch:
Scoot
-

Are the wanks riding these yet then, would be interesting to see one in action. :daumenhoch:
-
GT messed with Carbon Fibre before and it was shite then as well......

it's alright for towing the kids about though...
Maybe a gap in the market there if anyone wants to exploit it? ???
-
Joey Bradford has one of those new GT carbons, but when he came over to the UK to race and do clinics, he rode a regular alloy frame, not the carbon one.
-
How do you get a tob tube pad for that? Strap a sleeping bag around it? :idiot2:

UCI rules nowadays mean you dont have to run pads

As far as i know there is only 2 of the dam ugly stelth fighter bikes in working order.
As Mike has said Joe Bradford ownes one and I think the other is Mike Day's.
I rode an alloy one a few weeks back ;D :) ;) :daumenhoch:
Nuff said.

Pads not about rules, they're about style - and several hundred bleedin quid in my recent experience :-[
