SE have the retro thing bang on - I love that OM flyer and I'm definately going to buy one. It's a shame that they have to make them to a price point because some of the parts definately look like cheap shit and will need replacing straight away, but I don't care - when can I get one..................

Is it best to get one through Alans?

2004 models did have the problem of snapping but from 2005 onwards they reinforced them
with welding gusset plates on and thickening the head tube, there has not been one single
report of one of these reinforced one's snapping ONLY 2004 models like pictured. If you
brought an Se Pk Ripper bike and the bike shop told you its an 05 model and it hasn't
got the reinforced plates then they are lying its 04.
So many times i see se bikes for sale on here or ebay saying its a 2005 model when clearly
its a 2004 model, its so easy to spot the difference.

Se bikes have learnt from there mistakes in 04 and its sorted  :daumenhoch:

Thats good news, i like having proper information from people that are in the know. Have to admit that the retro stuff is rather lush, just a shame its a bit long for me  :(
