Poor wrist movement would be the only thing, but you've got plenty of experience there Mark so can't really see a problem :LolLolLolLol:
On a serious note, just getting the colour to match really, it's not a metallic gold on the DX's from what I can remember :daumenhoch:

DX's wern't annodised anyway they were painted :daumenhoch:
There's a post somewhere that Dave Rom put up about restoring DX's.

I think I remember the post from quite a while back, was it a silver based paint he started with and clear blue glass paint?
And Marty....sssh! You know I'm sensative about people knowing about my flagpole battering.......my keyboards in braile btw. Move on...back to dx resto....

gold paint is usually very poor in my experience.
yellow glass paint may look gold over a polished alloy pedal though....
-
i've done the glass paint thing,...to touch up gold levers, also black levers also, looks good. Trying blue next..
Pete (Quadrophenia) has done some gold bit too,.......good effect and cheap too !
i'll check the colours i used on the blue n black and lyk if you want them..
