Title: Brake levers.... Correct era ???

Hello all
I want to put some Shimano DX brake levers on my 83 looptail ripper.Are these the correct age for the bike as they look alot nicer than the tech 3-4's . I want to keep it era correct :daumenhoch:
Can anyone help me?

I'm pretty sure they were. I have an early American BMX Action magazine somewhere with an advert on the back. They are the ones that push the cable rather than pull it and have an adjuster built into the pivot aren't they.

It seems where ever i look there's only right handed :2gunsfiring_v1: and i so want a pair of these >:( :uglystupid2: Are leftys that rare??
