dave mirra breaking the world record highest air ( ridiculus when you consider mat had already blasted those 20 ft airs- no officials there so don't count- robbed)
at southsea skatepark. for some reason the bbc kept filming me rather than dave.
/>
NOTE- this was one of the best KOC's ever- dave mirra over, krt schmidt, joe rich, chad degroot and more. great weather & amazing riding in ALL catergories.

Great footage, but I`d forgotten how annoying Chris Acabusi (sp) was :knuppel2:
-
he did that annoying laugh all the time he was there (off camera) real annoying.

I remember that like it was yesterday! 93 was a brilliant KOC.

Thanks for that Denny, that was rad!
Geoff Cain and Tim Ruck were both in the mini comp , I even got a couple of tricks in there! That mini comp was all about Kirt, and your vid shows why!
Derren was kicking some tech in the fly outs too!
Its cool that 14 years later me, Derren, Tim and Geoff are all still riding together (and all radbmx members).
Really good, nice one!

think there's some footage of you (mr leech I guess?) in amongst bcr on the vcr which is split up in my youtube vids and also in tidy ( the last bmx vid i made in 99)
which will be uploaded soon. and yes, krt ruled the mini at koc. standard riders were known for their mini ramp prowess and krt pulled it all. rad.
-
That would be great denny, thanks. I will look out for it.
After that KOC the standard guys, some of the scotish riders and some North East riders all came and rode the ramp in Oxford. It was a good session, and BSD Grant put some footage on here somewhere. Check it out if you can.
