was there ever such a beast
a guy at work says he has an old chrome bmx and do i want it?
the only marks on it are an "RL" on the forks
and it has an oval frame
it had a skyway power disc and bulldog brakes which his son has swiped along with the wheels >:( >:( >:(
it could be just a mk2 burner and he lives quite a way away
so i cant be arsed to go over there!!!
any ideas? :wtf: :wtf:

its always worth a look, even if it is a Burner somebody will buy it off you which should even cover your fuel for going to get it ;)
-
Redline should have just that stamped on the bottom bracket. RL20b had a oval down tube

glad i went over now

is it an aero pro?
how do i tell?

It looks like an aero pro frame - but then again Tange made frames for so many companies...
My guess would be a 'yes'... but I'm no expert
I thought I had one and was then told it was a Tange Rhino... (see what I mean by no expert...)
if it's an aero pro good find!

I think the Frame numbers are:
T 3 (83), J (October) then the number also...
-
Yeh - looks like an aeropro...if both the top and down tube are of a similar oval shape then it is. Top tube should be 18.5 inches from centre of seat tube to centre of head tube.
It has the aeropro headset but wrong forks.
Spray it all with wd40 - let it soak and then get some wire wool to it...should come up a treat.
