Hi guys n gals.
I just thought I'd ask whether Araya actually made a shiny side rim, as I really don't remember ever seeing them back in the 80's. (Other than brake rub areas cleaned up to look better.)
I know that Ukai definitely made them, but I'm sure Araya never did.
Anyone know for sure??
Tell me if I'm wrong.
TA!

They did Paul, I run a set on my powerlite. They are not shiny like Ukais, more like non-anodized :daumenhoch:

LOL!
Tarty!
How long's it said that??
-
Only a month or so Paul, still taking the meds :2funny:
-
LMAO!
Yeh they're still in my system, guess that's why I didn't notice.
:uglystupid2:

Not long now Paul, and your gonna be back on the track :daumenhoch:

Yeh I can't wait - even if it's just a slow ride around the block!
Hopefully get on a track just before Christmas time.

i have a set of araya 7c's that are ano blue with non ano sides. as far as i can tell they are original as they still have ACS hubs dated 1980 laced to them. i am not 100% certain though, as my only 1980 BMXA magazine does not reveal anything :-\
