They were just known as Tange Aero. Super Cycle in Nottingham had a pile of about 25 rusting away in the celler. prob still there. but its out of bounds to the public.
-
I don't think the Tange Rhino had aero tubing (I may be wrong!) The Rhino was a great frame though!
-
I think the Rhino had a grove in the down tube, like the top tube of a streat beat, or like the new Sunday frames have on the down tube.
(I could be wrong about that tho)
-
the later rhino 111 had taper tubing .gave it extra strengh i think
-
was there a bike called the Rhino that looked like that?.
the rhino had a gusset if i remember
-
So still no definative answer eh. ;) ;)
-
I am sure the Rhino had grooves in the tubing
:) DINGO :)
-
I recall these being readily avail in 80's & I used one of these for a Skyway TA copy back then > moving on from my original Burner! OK top tube not aero but with a pad...? Recently saw one on the bay & think was same frame used for a TA copy. Gary

That ones called a Rhino Charge I think...I got one too. :daumenhoch:
