Title: Shipping a frame and forks to the states?????????

Anyone done this in the last few months? Who did you use and what kinda price did you pay?

Hi Matt,

Iv done it twice & both times I used UPS, but it was not cheep, around £120 if I remember rightly  :-\

I got a quote from the post office a few days ago for shipping my T/A F+F's to the US and it was £85 by airmail and £75 by surface mail - insurance was extra.

Royal Mail are cheapest if your friendly local post office don't bitch that the parcel is oversize :o)  Cost me about £30 quid to ship a frame to europe  :daumenhoch:

be carefull as ive heard they say it doesnt turn up even if signed for and claim there money back

It costs about 10% extra to insure anything you send from the post office, I always tend to do this.
