When did Landing Gear start stamping their forks ?
-
I think in 85 when they redesigned the Ripper. The earlier ones had a diagonal SE logo.

Thanks Bob :)

i've got a couple of pairs of unstamped Landing Gear & apart from the stickers there are no identifying marks or logo's anywhere on the forks ???
-
I've got a couple of unstamped pairs too, but I saw these and thought they looked like a possible bargain. I guess they are not that old though. I have asked the seller, and he doesn't know.

yeah they are a fairly new set! the threadless 1 &1/8 steerer tube as well as the stamping indicates that!
fitting into older frames can be done although not easily as it involves mixing & matching between headsets :-\
-
Cheers chap. I think I'll pass then ;)
-
still might be worth a punt?
you never know you might end up with a midschool frame one day & they'd be just the ticket!
plus if they are cheap you'll never lose any money on em ;)

the ones in the picture look like 2004 model
