I have been approached by a few OSS riders who have stated that they are not in a position to travel as far as Ipswich! We have decided to put it to the vote to decide if we are going to go, I know its a bit late in the day, but I would rather cancel a round than have a really low show!!
OSS riders once you vote, can you reply to this thread with your answer so we stop Pete Quad putting in stoopid votes :daumenhoch:

Well I wont be riding oss, but I dont want to go up there on my own ::)
-
As suggested today Tone, I think swapping out Ipswich on the 17th for Brixton on the 25th would get a higher rider count.
Ipswich would probably be a 300 mile/5 hour round trip for me, so I'd probably rather go to Herne Bay and session the track than do that trip for 3 motos and a final.
Are there even any Ipswich locals who take part in the OS? Plenty of Londoners though.

As much as I'd like to go to Ipswich to race as haven't been there since the mid 80's I think there are 2 problems.
1 - Don't think the OS turn out would be great
2 - With CIN next weekend and the last 2 weekends races, plus daggers on the 25th, it means 5 weekends BMXing in a row which won't go down well with the misses.
Mike, Brixton on the 25th would be a problem as that is also the 1st round of the BAD winter series. (we really need to get together with brixton to talk about dates as this is the 2nd time we'll have clashed in a month)

If BAD is having a race on the 25th already, why not have Rd4 there? Two birds, one stone and all that.
I guess the excuse that some people will come up with is too many rounds at BAD, but it's a good track, stands up well to the weather, and at the end of the day, it still involves getting the chance to ride our bikes, so we shouldn't moan.

As per the chat on Sunday, would rather do something slightly closer to London, BAD sounds good at the end of the month. Whats peoples thoughts on Hayes, I raced OS there last year and the DP stood up to the challenge.
I will try and do some recon work at Brixton this weekend to see what it would be like for OS
Also, thinking about South London tracks, what about Peckham?
-
I would rather race at BAD as it is nice and local
-
Personally I think Brixton would be an interesting choice but hadn't realised there was yet another clash with BAD. Dare I ask if BAD couldn't back down or reschedule to Saturday that weekend?? Humps

Peckham would be interesting, but it's a tight techy track so expect a few people to go down hard.
-
Humps, I'm disappoint about the clash and would be happy to support brixton but things are a bit touchy at the moment at daggers and people would be calling for my head if I tried changing the date ::)

I have to agree with Paul on this one, it would be seen as favoritism towards the Old School :-\

I voted "let's do it" but happy to go with the majority

I may have said earlier that I would rather go to Dagenham, but I ment if Ipswich gets cancelled. I am still up for Ipswich
-
seen as you cant decide move it upto bullwell on the 9th dec :daumenhoch:

Can't make Ipswich weekend anyway, 25th looks OK though.
