:LolLolLolLol:  If you use the search function and look for black chrome and smoked chrome you will find plenty of questions but few answers ;)

I know that he's recently got the ability to do superchrome in black - like they do on night burners, not sure about shadow chrome though

Shameless plug of mark's work ;)

I've got some mirror black chrome powder coming from the US, I will try it out on my mitygoose first to see what its like,i can compare it with the steerer tube on my proclass as it still has the original finish.  :daumenhoch:

Last time I was in Trevors workshop (MidasTouch), one of the Burner blokes was in picking up some scrap metal, he did say Trevor knows of a company that can do black chrome. Could be worth a punt...

Spoke to Trev Bren, he said he wouldnt 100% trust the guy who does it as my f&f + bars need strippin first. That was good enough for me  :-\

Its easy to do its a Smoke laquer over chrome hense most pro class has flaking, i've done a few easyest way it get it chromed then buy yourself a tin of window tint spray and spray the frame then i use 2pk laquer over the top as long as your good at spraying it comes out minty. :daumenhoch:

Bitd there were a few different "Black Chrome" finishes/processes .

The HL Turbo ( slight blue tint ? ) was the worst for coming off if sneezed on , the Pro Class was darker , the Night Burner more brownish .

I've a Vector MKII Black Chrome Ltd Ed and it's a different process from others , very black and much harder wearing . It looks to possibly be a layer of something over Nickel maybe , it did'nt go on very well between the twin downtubes near the headtube where it is lacking .

pm voris I am sure he will tell you what the finish is matt, may be similar to the GT baking Process?

I'm guessing it probably is , I did get close a couple of years ago to getting the contact details for the owner of Vector bitd but that kinda fizzled out  ::) .
