Title: Cleaning white grips and Tuffs...
Post by: Robbo on November 06, 2007, 07:58 PM
I want to give the ride a quick clean before CIN on Sunday and my white primo grips are looking a bit ropey and my tuffs could do with a quick splash of water.

Is there a recommended method to cleaning these if your a lazy sod like me? ;)

Hello mate, CIF Cream is excellent and hot soapy water. Also some Flash spray bleach is also good for a quick once over  :daumenhoch:

After a quick inspection of the kitchen cupboards I have found some CIF kitchen cleaner in a spray bottle, will this do and will it suit both the grips and wheels?

I suppose a small test is best?

That should be fine mate, try on a small area of the wheel first as they are nylon, then if ok get cleaning! Also the grips should be ok as they are rubber. Use plenty of hot water too!

Cheers,
