I thought £10 was a good price posted :-\
-
cheap if you ask me.
-
thats the word i was looking for...cheap...in every sense of the word.
they are shite. i ordered some ages ago for me quad, and bought a set from alans for my ripper..just to see what they were like..
can honestly say they are the worst set of pads you could ever want to buy and mine will be going in the bin.
well shit...stay away.
-
What's shite about them jon? ???
-
All personal taste JT. I bought some for my Quadangle and I think they look good.
-
the materials, the finish, the foams, err, the size of em? handlebar pads are about 4 inch's wide...
i put them on my ripper just for a look and they look cack.
the quad pad in all fairness is not a bad fit, but thats about it...
if someone wants to donate 15 quid to the stephen murray fund, i will post both sets of them to that person F.O.C.
-
Yep - I got a set for my 07 OM Flyer and they are perfect. Especially for £10!
I think folk could only be disappointed if they are buying them thinking that they could get away with them being mistaken for old ones...
JT - I'll take the Quad and Ripper set off ya mate.
-
pm me your address mate, they are yours.
-
Will do Jon...thanks mate, I'll paypal the SM fund now...
-
bit confused here guys (for a change :uglystupid2: :idiot2: :2funny: :2funny:)

Yep. But they are not an Old School repro...they are for the new range of retro SE bikes...as JT pointed out they are completely different to the old ones in terms of construction - but thye are cool for a retro bike.
-
any pics of the quad ones??

i was thinking about getting a set for me ripper, don't think i'll bother now.
-
Sorry guys have to agree with J T on this one, ordered my quad pads awhile ago and when they arrived was not a happy bunny.
Something else to put in a dark corner of the shed !
Scoot.

I like them, but then again I was not expecting the oldschool style of pad, I have a couple of newschool padsets and they are all the same size and quality.
Here is a picture of my Quad with the new padset on.
