just put seat in dylon black loads salt 3 kilo .left it hour or so so far took it out and its gone from white to copper colour .is that bad or will it go black if i leave it overnight even though water will be cold in another hour or so .

You need to keep the water hot, simmering on a stove in a big pot is the best way :daumenhoch:

Yep, you have to keep the water hot, hot, hot. For a seat I'd use 2 tins of dylon too.

it was the boxed ones that are for machine use
used it before and it worked okay this time disaster got copper brown seat now lol

re-do it with the tins then it should be ok

you need the multipurpose stuff in the little tins
i made the mistake of getting the cold water type and that was pants
red came out streaky pink like a rasher of bacon
nice in a sandwich but a crap look for zytecs !! ;)
