Title: 1984 Haro Master
Post by: Bren Gunn on November 27, 2005, 08:13 PM
Did this ever come as a complete bike, like the Sport?

If it did, did it also use MX900 brakes, like the Sport?

Thanks. :)

I'm not sure if the complete '84 Master made it to these shores, but the US definately had a complete.

Yep it did come to the Uk as a complete bike with the 3 peice crank and those big bars. Friend of mine Gordon Murphy bought one from Hot wheels in Bournemouth and it cost him a princely sum of £403!!!!

Hi

There's an 84 F&F missing from Vert-ego....any one know where it's gone?

Anyway, you need to pull this down - http://www.ajkbikes.com/downloads/catalogs/1984%20Haro%20Catalog.pdf

The brakes were MX 1000's with Tech 3 levers.

 ;)

Cheers, I wonder why they used the MX900 on the Sport?

Weren't MX 900's cheaper?

The Sport was always the cheaper of the two, the Master was top of the range, until the 87's came out and the components on the team models were almost identical.

that bike is an intentional shed, but tastfully done i think youl agree, you dont see many like that about, a bike should reflect the owners peronality, thats why mine are loaded with all the best bits, get people talkin, a bit rough round the edges, make the girlies smile and been about a bit, def not one for trainspotters LOL  ;D

ps THERES NOWT WRONG WIV ME FOOOOOOOKIN PEDALS, they are the exact same colour as the frame im sure :D
