A mate of mine had one and we sold a couple at the shop (Bunneys) very Redlinesque

here ya go dingo....I have a complete bike in candy red too with gold parts - very MX2 ish but much thinner tubing and very light.

Nope, sorry.

What I do know is Linn Kastan( Mr Redline ) went to Japan in 1979 to train up 6 people to TIG weld for Redline at the Kalumara factory in Kobi.

Maybe it was part of the deal he struck up...  He trained the staff, and they could use the MXII design?  Who Knows? I'm just guesing...

Check out the Linn Kastan interview on VintageBMX in the Museum, it's BMX history from the begining ;)

around the late 80's they began making MTB's and they created the Nishiki Alien. It was one of the most influential bikes around at the time and was "the" bike to have.

Big in yank land - never saw one over here!
