And Steve, that must be the most expensive type of loft insulation I've seen! ;)
-
Up until this week i had all of my bikes at my office as we were living at the inlaws. We just moved in 2 weeks ago. I built a gamesroom in the loft and they sit in there at the mo. I put them to bed everynight. :D The Mrs is gonna do her nut when she realises i gotta put another rack of them up there!

That looks luxury !!! I need to resort to hanging them on the wall.... being in a small london flat and all.
Another usually stands below this... and then have a few hanging in the garage but unforutnately a car lives in there so no room for expansion. Just dismantled one to bring in another. :)

some at work , at friends, mainly in the shed , just showed the wife s&m alex,s /gateshead collection to shut her up about my small collection of about 12 bikes :LolLolLolLol:
-
3 in the bedroom. My missus (Debs) hates me. >:D :LolLolLolLol:
-
I've just read this thread from the beginning, I'm stunned. Some huge collections there, the value of em terrifies me
Chaps, are your garden sheds secure? I mean properly secure.... With the way these prices are going those sheds look like easy targets to me.
Cover them windows up, get more than one locking device on the door if you don't already ;)
-
i have a patrol hedge hog,hes up n down the drive all night one step on him and the dogs will wake me :)
-
I've got 3 in the shed which is ADT alarmed and 1" ply lined and i've been riding for se bikes for 4 yrs and since then have only sold 1 of
my bikes so that leaves about 8 complete bikes and 6 mixed F&F's in the loft, my 08 team in the kitchen and pink hutch in the
kids bedroom. Also my attic is starting to look like shiners with all the parts etc i pick up and keep hold off :crazy2:
-
Mine are piled up in a spare bedroom like a pile of shite at the mo, it's like where's wally in that pic. That's most of the completes, 16 there, 6 more around the house and draws full of parts all over if anyones on the rob. Just about finished decorating a room to put them in but started uni recently so room needs to double up as somewhere to work, can fit in about 15 so somethings got to give.......I'll finish what I've got and hopefully have enough backbone to say no more.....who am I trying to kid.....

big plinky i love the scimitar lol
-
Can bikes be insured separately or are they just covered within the household contents? Peeps, no need to be specific about your set up, just a generic question really :daumenhoch:
Paul :)
-
I have just got new house insurance following the extension and modernisation of the pad. I also included the garage and contents but was specific about the bikes and managed to get coverage of £15k for bikes and tools etc excluding the motorbikes which are covered themselves anyway.
just needed to add some side bars to the garage door that's all.
The people insuring me came in cheaper than Aeon (who we were with) and the house went from 3 bed 1 bathroom to 4 bed, study 3 b/rooms and extra bikes etc in the garage!!
pm if you want my insurers details.
-
big plinky i love the scimitar lol
That's not a Scimitar it's a fibreglass shed ;D (it will live again one day, probably not long after the bloody builders have finished the garage)
