Linky - http://www.jgh-concepts.co.uk/BMXforsale.htm
-
aye iv been in contact with the seller few times very hard to get back at you, couple of stuff are sold already an am not sure if the seller is base in uk as his ebay is located in the US
-
most of it IS NOT AVAILABLE now ,he has a few bits left but not the more desirable bits :) he now lives in the US but all his bits are in the UK :daumenhoch:
he got back to me quite quickly, but i have yet to buy anything,so im not sure how genuine it all is?
-
I eamailed him a few times last year and he never replied, personally give it a big swerve
-
Dia-Compe MX1000's full sets include front & rear self centering, micro adjust and quick release calipers, cables & levers. £25.00 a pair
:2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
Yup,i found that site through Google completely by accident about 8 months ago...trouble is i think it was last updated in 1988 :LolLolLolLol:
-
His name is Julian, he now lives in the US I believe, the site is 3 years+out of date. He was/is a member on here, some of the older radders know him :daumenhoch:
His favourite colour is topaz
-
yep that julians site and yep he live in usa and does put the odd bit on ebay ,well into his vw these days .that site is over 5 years old and remember it being out of date then
-
Julian Torker, top bloke, moved to the States 3 or 4 years back... the sites long dead.
-
i dont get it i found this site last week and he was sellin two sets of wheels there i wanted so i emailed him about it, he gotback to me then i replied dont know which one to have can i have a picture of both please so he happily sent me pictures of wheels then i said ill take that one and that was the end he was never to be heard again....god bless!
-
When I first got back into BMX his was one the first sites I found that I thought was selling stuff; emailed a few times but never got a response so gave up trying ::).
-

mx1000's were 25 quid a pair only a few years ago
it's only really in the past 3 years that the prices have gone stupid
having to spend 100s and 100s of pounds kinda takes the fun out of this
-
I'll 3rd or 4th that or whatever it was.
Jullian was one of the original UK crew and a top bloke. I expect he'd have been a well known member in here had he not moved to America.
-
Bought from him on eBay (US account, that's right), nice bloke !
I knew this site for awhile, it sounds obvious that it hasn't been updated for the last 20 years ;)
"Oakley B2 grips, blue, in original boxes £8.00 a pair." We are in 2007 now !!!! :-\
-
i had one his last sets of B2's when i first got into this
i think i exchanged emails with him
then he left for the states & his mum posted them out
that was end of 03 early 04 (ish)
-
Top bloke
Bought a few things from him many years ago and was always happy to communicate & send pics etc
Sells most of his stuff on us ebay now
-
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice prices, ill take the lot its cheap enough :LolLolLolLol: shame its an old site at them prices :'(
i did contact him a while back and he did eventually reply, but not got much left :'(

LOL - that is the OLD old school crew!!!
Good to see you posting on here Kirk.

Haha, good to see that the original old schooler's still remember me, at least we were all part of the old school resurgence in the late 90's/early 2000's.
To those people who say steer clear, well you joined the revolution too late and don't know the original old schoolers. I do still have some stuff back home, but the rare stuff at 2002 prices has all gone.
As for me, I live in the former home town of Torker in Fullerton, SoCal and spend most of time Motocrossing (& running my UKBMX/Redditch Premiers race number from 1981), so if any member's of the 'Gentlemen's Club' are paying a visit to Disneyland, swing by as I'm only 10 minutes away.

Yeah, it was a nasty crash, I don't recommend rolling on the freeway at 65. I still have some issues 9 months later with injuries (broken wrist, fractured pelvis, tore my chest muscle and hit my head pretty bad, but as the emergency crew and the doctors said, I really should be dead)

Well we did write the 10 commandments of the resurgence of Old School, at least I can say I got my first BMX in 1980 and when Alans' Warrington races first started I was back racing the bike I'd kept since I bought it new in 1984, so I guess I can rub it in with the newbs!!!!
When I wer a lad, I had Mitsuboshi Grippa's, Cycle Pro Snake Belly's, chain snakes, Moto-X Fox grips, made my own dice caps, wore JT wet weather gloves to school, and Kashimax Aero seats were considered too sharp so we swapped them for Elina's or Shot Guns, and finally we made our own rub on stickers from Fablon!!! Those were the days....now where's my Horlicks & woodbines??????? ;)
-
:LolLolLolLol:
so much stuff you wrote there brought back memories
although I have been known to still make decals with fablon :LolLolLolLol:
:) DINGO :)

Hell yeah, Fablon is the best, when I was racing the old school nationals, my numbers on my plate were all Fablon aided. When I was a kid I used to make JT, Oakley, Fox, Aero, CW, Skyway, lightning bolts and sell them to all the Burner boys on my paper round!!!!
-
lo julian and that crash looks a tad nasty
and great torker's
