Title: Dying Grips

Has anyone attempted this. If so how did you do it and what were the results like

I tried once before with leather shoe dye but it just can off in your hands

Any suggestions help gratefully received

you cant dye grips.

dont bother, loads have tried it.

I Did  :P  the results are ok but it very much depends on what colour they are in the first place.Mine where white and i dyed them black. using 3 dylon ebony black multipurpose dyes, 1/2lb of salt and boiling water. they are not jet black but close to it.left them to simmer for 2 hrs washed them off and a month later of riding with them they are still black. I can't guarantee this will work with all grips as Oberonspacefruit says many have tried and failed as grips are rubber.  :daumenhoch:

thanks guys. I thought that to be the case. I may give it a try anyway the grips are red anyhow so they may go black better. who knows

got them cheap so nothing to lose really
