im building this up as the bike me and me mate shared bitd
it was our back up bike when one of ours got nicked
ive stripped the paint off and got the stuck post out
its got a few marks in it were they have keyed it for paint
but has cleaned up ok
i may leave as is or get dan to powder it
what ya reckon then

gotta be powder and then perfect rhys .doesnt quite make it as is .unless you want the use look?

give it a powder, it will still be nickel underneath, nothing lost.

I'd go with a fresh powder coat too Rhys ... what colour would you chose :)

I think you should get it powdered in white. I think white is the best colour for a bike, it looks so clean.
Steve Vinoah has a beautiful white early Goose in white. It looks amazing, one of my favourite builds.

Yeah, only the Teams were available in the candy red and blue colours ... Team Minigoose included :daumenhoch:

it was my first bike aswell,i've got a supergoose2 1983,nearly all original(only pedals,got shimano dx on,and tyres that are not original)but REALLY want a supergoose 1980 like my first :'(

There's another set up on the bay in US at the moment.
I'm still waiting for the UK wheels to be delivered too. The chap had some family problem crop up!

just had the frame and forks dropped of by the don himself
i must say the finish is as tho its glass
its unreal .just taking a pict then gonna show you lot how nice it is

so only fitted the crank which i may paint black yet

if you can't find motomags then some fat steelies will do, with cheap hubs and thick spokes.

was bored so changed the wheels to some well used alloy hubbed tuffs i had hanging on me torker

Looking good Rhys :daumenhoch: It is not going as slow as my build, I'm still waiting on some goose cro-mo bars, seat post and a couple of pads, then can put pics up!

cheers for the nice comments got me grips today
just need pedals and some money to get the stickers
but also having trouble with the seat post
its a tuffneck 22.2mm but is loose when done up tight
i know its prob due to the stuck post and were ive drilled the old post out
but when ive fitted a renthall one i made from some motocross bars its ok

rat traps. and it looks like it's coming together Rhys. Difficult to find bits them early goose builds. gonna looks sweet though when it's done. ;)

yeah may change the colour on cranks to match the bars and knee is fine but now have a elbow the size of a small melon lol
so prob no riding again this week

ok heres a quick thank you to every one who helped me along with this project
first must be superbike dan for the best glass like finsh powder coat
moose for the forks .jim from rom who sold it to me .lee bananaman for the snowflake ring.
dan of here from southsea for the wheels .jtracing for the dc double clamp
and spen69 for getting the stickers from the states .rides real nice but my god how did we jump these bitd
its so heavy i cant lift it lol

took it for a spin to the shops this sarfo rode nice bit cramped and under geared lol
coaster didnt work very well .but other than that was a blast
got loads of looks from the chav's and most car's passing me by lol
