Well, another member on here is about to embark on the seat covering thing. Does anyone know where you can get the gold Kashimax logo done. I assume this can be done after the seat is covered to ensure correct position. Can you get "iron on" stuff perhaps????. LMK so I can pass the info on. Cheers Guys, Ad

I used that trade upholsterers glue in an aerosol can. Fookin stuff gets everywhere and you end up wearing most of it. You gotta spray both surfaces, leave to dry, then its a contact adhesive. Sticks like baby poo to a blanket and you only get one go and its stuck. No staples used. You gotta line the seat first to loose the sharp edges. Ideally use suede from an old jacket as it is more subtle than new stuff and stretches more. If you get glue on the suede, dont try to clean it off, just put the seat down, go have a cup of tea and when you come back, it just rubs off. If you try to clean it off straight away, you just make it worse. I found a place in Newcastle which sells suede "splits", for about £16. It is enough to do about 8 seats. I think the site is www.leprivo.co.uk but not sure.
I did a bit of a "how to" on the old site if you can find it.
Happy glueing :santa_afro: ;D ;) Ad
