Well,i bought a set of bars off this guy few weeks ago.Good feedback,so i thought,hey,No Problems...
So i thought.
ebay username - 66marsbar
name on account - Craig Marsden/ Paypal paid to an - L Daniels
I paid immediately Paypal and heard nothing since. I followed ebay procedure and requested contact details,gave the guy a call and some woman gave a cock and bull story about the number being re-issued and that he didnt live there..
Funny thing was i didnt mention his name... but she DID
Basicly,Horsesh*t. Givin' me the runaround. How many telephone companies re-issue a number then tell you who it used to belong to? Yeah Right...
Done the usual complaints and finally today a Paypal claim to get the refund. It was only 30 odd quid,and Paypal are cool about refunding you from unscrupulous characters...but that aint the point.
So i just want to offer this Seasonal advice guys, watch out for those ebay bandits this time of year...
And if Mr Marsden/Daniels,you are one of RADs members,then i'm really dissapointed d00d.
I just hope the guy who bought the Diamond Back bike off him for over 300 quid doesnt get shafted like i did.

a few of us on here had to wait ages for stuff we brought off him. i know my stuff turned up but did take about a month, this was stuff he was selling on here not ebay

the woman could be telling the truth, she could know the name as loads of calls have come in

so just becuase she knows the name, doesn't mean she's lying.
but cheers for the headsup anyway.
you have to be careful with ebay feedback, I've read about people buying loads of low value things, you like ebooks for 10p things that just get emialed to them, no actual product as such, just to get a good feedback raiting.

There is a "Marsbar" on here & like Matt put above he was slow sending stuff sold on here in the past .

I had some tyres off him on here (marsbar-craig marsden)) did message him couple of times , he apologised for delay as hed been busy ., but i received tyres no probs. He may be working away (still no symbols working , so, round head,eyes moving left to right ,abnormally high eyebrows, mouth all fooked

I've not been on here long,but i've bought quite a few bits off members here,paid mostly PP and had stuff within 2 days.Likewise i sold some bars and pedals too.I got paid - I sent. Simple.
Well,we'll see what happens,i could handle it if he'd have let me know,but nothing? Thats simply not good enough and now ebay & PP's Fraud Dept can deal with it.

Yea,thats what i'm afraid of..ebay are pretty wonk with their cut and paste replies thye send you,but Paypal are good with the refunds mind you.They take no messing if the seller is found to be dicking around,so i have faith in that at least.Its worked for me before.

it takes a long time for a phone number to be re-issued - exactly for that reason.
We moved in July and our old number still does not work.

matey they can only give you a refund if he has the money in his account. paypal are proper poo

Naw, that used to be the case, but in conjunction with ebays buyer protection which they offer, you get the dosh and they claw it back from the sellers card or bank account.

i was gonna buy some bars off this gezza but then he decided to change the price after i told him id have them . just as well by the sounds of it think he must be a bit of a tosser

Looks like he tried his luck on ebay,prob didnt get what he wanted and now has backed out,f*****g me about in the process.
Now i am MAD!
